Calendar display settings change how Blades looks on your device. A calendar subscription lets another calendar app read your assigned sessions.

Change the calendar display

  1. Open Settings and select View.
  2. Choose the first day of the week and the start and end hours you want to see.
  3. Return to your calendar to check the display.
These preferences are saved in this browser. They do not change session times or sync automatically to another browser or device. If early or late commitments seem missing, expand the visible hours. View settings also include calendar overlays. Organisers can choose crew busy times, darkness, Cam Conservancy events and Rule 11 information through Layers in the crew calendar. Subscribe to your sessions

Open Settings, then Sync. Choose one of the following methods.
Select Subscribe to calendar. Your browser asks to open a calendar app that supports calendar subscriptions. Follow that app’s prompts to add the feed.If no suitable app opens, use the copied-link method instead.

What the feed contains

Your personal feed includes assigned sessions across your clubs for the past 90 days and the next 365 days. Events include session times and details such as the course, equipment, participant assignments and outing plan where provided. The feed is read-only. Editing an event in another calendar app does not update the session in Blades. The feed contains assigned sessions, not your personal busy-time entries.

When changes appear

Changes can take up to five minutes to reach the feed. Your calendar provider may refresh less often, so the total delay can be longer. If your app lets you choose a refresh interval, choose one that suits how you use the schedule. Check My sessions in Blades for the current plan before an outing, particularly after an organiser changes it.
Anyone with your calendar link can read its contents without signing in to Blades. Treat both the link and the displayed token as private. Avoid posting them in group chats, screenshots or public calendars.
The current screen has no revoke-link button. If you share the link accidentally, contact the person who operates your Blades service to arrange revocation. Removing the subscription from your calendar app does not revoke the link.
