Your club organiser must add you to Blades before you can sign in. Use the email address they added.
1

Open Blades and enter your email address. If your club added your Cambridge email address, you can enter your CRSid instead, such as ab123 for [email protected].Request a sign-in code, check your inbox and enter the code. If you belong to several clubs, choose the club you want to open. Blades selects your club automatically if you belong to one.You can switch clubs later using the club selector in the sidebar.
3

Mark when you are busy

Open Availability and add the times when you cannot row. Empty time means you have not recorded a commitment there.Follow Set your availability to add a one-off commitment or a repeating timetable.
4

Read your sessions

Open My sessions, choose an upcoming session and read its time, equipment, assignments and plan. Select Mark as read after you have read it.Find and read your sessions explains the details you will see.
5

Check your feedback

Open Feedback to read notes from your organisers about your sessions or your own rowing. See Read your feedback.
You can use these four screens without setting up crews, boats or lineups. Your organisers handle the session planning.

Book equipment when you need it

Open Bookings to check the club’s equipment and make your own reservation. Select an empty time on the equipment’s row, drag across a period, or choose Book equipment. Check the details in the form and submit it. You can move or delete your own standalone bookings. Ask an organiser to change another member’s booking or a reservation that belongs to a session. See Equipment and bookings for repeating bookings, conflicts and cancellation. The guide is available under Equipment in the member navigation.

If you cannot get in

Check your spam folder and the address you entered. Ask your organiser to confirm which address they added. Blades does not offer public account registration, so requesting a code does not create an account.
Request a new code and use the most recent email. Codes expire after five minutes.
Ask your club organiser to add your account to the club. Signing in and belonging to a club are separate requirements.
Your organiser may not have assigned you to a session yet. Check both Upcoming and Past, then ask them to check your assignment and account address.

Optional account help

You can update your rowing profile or add a passkey, and subscribe to your sessions in another calendar. Use Search, or press Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows, to find application pages and actions. This menu does not search every member or session record.
