# Organise training with tags

> Create coloured club tags, apply them to sessions and preserve past training labels.

Club admins and owners manage tags in **Tags**, below **Courses** in the sidebar. Members can browse the same tags under **Club → Tags**. Tags belong to the club, so everyone uses the same names and colours.

## Create or edit a tag

Select **New tag** at the top of the Tags page. Enter a name, choose a colour with the colour picker and select **Create tag**.

To change an existing tag, use its row actions and choose **Edit**. Update the name or colour and select **Save changes**. The tag's new appearance is used wherever it is displayed.

Use the table search to find a name. The **Status** column distinguishes Active and Archived tags and provides a filter.

## Apply tags to sessions

In the session creation or editing form, use **Tags** to search and select one or more labels. Selected tags appear as coloured chips. Use a chip's remove button to remove that tag from the session, then save the session.

The weekly personal and crew outlines show tags in their own column. Use the column's filter to show sessions matching any selected tag. A session can have up to ten tags.

## Archive, restore or delete

Choose **Archive** from a tag's row actions when it should no longer be offered for new assignments. Existing sessions keep the archived tag. Choose **Restore** to make it available again.

Tags that have been used by sessions must be archived rather than deleted, even if they are later removed from those sessions. A tag recorded as never used also offers **Delete**; review and confirm the deletion. Older tags without a usage record are kept and can be archived.

There is no separate Manage tags screen. Create tags from the page header and make changes through the row actions.
