# Find and read your sessions

> Read your session plan, check your assignment and mark the details as read.

**My sessions** shows sessions you have been assigned to, including assignments across your clubs. Joining a crew does not automatically assign you to every session that crew runs.

## Open a session

1. Open **My sessions** in the sidebar.
2. Choose **Upcoming** for sessions ahead or **Past** for earlier sessions.
3. Open a session to see its full details. Load more results if the session you need is not in the current list.

Check the following before the session:

| Detail                    | What to check                                                        |
| ------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Start and end | When the session begins and finishes. |
| Push-off or first pull | A separate time within the session, when the organiser has set one. |
| Course | The rowing route, location and distance for a water session. |
| Equipment and assignments | Your boat or other equipment, seat, fellow participants and coaches. |
| Outing plan | The instructions your organiser has written for this session. |

Some details only appear when the organiser has provided them. A land session does not need a water course.

## Mark the session as read

After reading the details, select **Mark as read**. Your organiser can then see that you have read the current plan.

<Note>
  Marking a session as read is a read receipt. It does not confirm attendance or tell your organiser whether you can make it. Contact them if there is a problem with your assignment.
</Note>

When an organiser edits the session, Blades clears the read receipts. Read the updated details and mark them as read again.

## Read feedback or add the session to your calendar

The session's feedback panel contains notes from your organisers. You can also find these through [Feedback](/members/feedback).

To see your sessions in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook, set up a [calendar subscription](/account/calendars#subscribe-to-your-sessions). That calendar is read-only and may take time to refresh after a change. Check Blades for the current session plan.

## If a session is missing

Check the other period tab and load more results. If the session still does not appear, ask your organiser to check that they assigned your account. Being on the crew's member list is not enough.
